Mr. Bhuwneshwar Mishra, Sr. GM and Company Secretary is the Board’s appointed secretary for the Board and its various committees like Audit, CSR, Risk Management, Project, Nomination & Remuneration, Stakeholders Grievance Redressal and Corporate Strategy Committees. Mr. Mishra is responsible for Board-level strategy, planning, execution, and for providing guidance to Board members on regulatory issues. He is responsible to detect emerging compliance and industry trends and develop appropriate responses and also for setting of process oriented compliance management systems. Mr. Mishra has authored books on “Ethics, Governance and Sustainability”, “Commentary on Law Relating to Insider Trading” and “SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations 2015”. He has published various articles on Corporate Governance, Takeover, Insider Trading, Whistle Blower Policy, Inter-corporate funding, Political funding, appointment of directors and related statutory disclosures etc. He delivered lecture in IIM –Ranchi, PHD Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Jaypee Business School and ICSI.

Mr. Mishra joined GHCL in 2001 as Sr. Executive Officer – Secretarial. He has a Master’s degree in Mathematics with a specialization in Statistics and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a graduate of law from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Uttar Pradesh.
