GHCL also produces 25.4 MW of wind power from its windmills situated in Tamil Nadu for its captive use. The 5.5 core unit of wind power per year is 55% of the plant’s yearly consumption. GHCL also installed 2.0 MW rooftop solar power plant in Paravai and Manaparai .
